Jacquelynne and Jason connect on Hinge (swiped by Allison Bosson because of Jason's puppy, Ella, on his profile photo). They messaged for weeks and then had a 2-hour phone call. They finally agreed to meet in person but had to cancel 2 days prior because the timing wasn't right.

Jason and Jacquelynne stayed in touch as acquaintances. They texted occasionally with life updates and liked each other's social media posts. When one was single, the other one wasn't.

Jacquelynne reached out to Jason. The timing was finally right! (Although, Jason just moved to CO exactly a month prior...wamp wamp )

Right away, they began texting regularly and having daily COVID Facetimes. Eventually, Jason flew from Colorado to San Francisco to meet Jacquelynne IRL for the FIRST time after years of virtually connecting. They met at the Ferry Building for lunch, and their date lasted until 11 PM in the Mission. After a week of being inseparable, Jackie drove Jason to SFO. It was there that they decided to give long-distance a chance, rotating visits every 2-3 weeks and exploring new states each month.

Jason asked Jacquelynne to be "official" during a road trip to Salida, CO (a small town known for its B&B goat farm). He did it at a park during a Fourth of July fireworks show as they enjoyed a box of Franzia sold by the local church for their fundraiser. With the fancy boxed wine, fireworks, and an impromptu town rave outside an ice cream shop, how could she possibly say no?

J&J visited Moab together for the first time. They glamped at Under Canvas and spent a day ATV'ing around the desert. It was here they fell in love with the area.

J&J experienced their first international trip to Portugal together. After days of food poisoning in a cramped hotel room (with a thin glass bathroom door), they saw each other at their worst. Despite everything, their desire to explore new countries together only grew stronger.

Jason said goodbye to Colorado...and his old furniture. Jacquelynne said goodbye to Noe Valley...and half of her closet space. J&J officially moved into a loft in Potrero Hill.

Jason proposed at Presidio Tunnel Tops. Jacquelynne already suspected it was coming because he insisted they visit the park, despite it drizzling every few hours.

J&J adopted Fatoné (Fat-Tony) at a Rescue pop-up a few blocks from their house. The latest chapter to their story.
